OXFORD STREET ON CHANDIGARH - AMBALA HIGHWAY BECOMES A RETAIL HUB-CUM-ENTERTAINMENT DESTINATION

Oxford Street (OS) located at Zirakpur on the Chandigarh-Ambala highway is humming with retail business activities thanks to well known brands which have opened up their outlets at OS, attracting impressive footfalls every day.

Some of the renowned brands which are now operational at OS are Tata Zudio, Sky Jumper, Reliance Smart, Spinny - a Unicorn, and Tress Lounge.

“Oxford Street offers a British style shopping experience and an availability of top brands from different genres of the retail space. According to Piyush, apart from already operational brands some very promising brands which have signed up with Oxford Street. In these there are names like Moti Mahal, Barista, NIHAO, Deluxe Dhaba, LaPINOZ, Baskin Robbins, Cream Way, Chawla’s, Jockey, NumeroUno, Brew Estate, and many more, “All top brands are vying to be there at Oxford Street,” added Piyush.

Instead of providing Return on Investment(ROI) as was being done by other players, which resulted in problems for both the investor and the real estate developer, due to flaws in the model, REG liaised directly for leasing with leading brands for giving 'business space'. This created a permanent monthly income (PMI) for investors. Business space at Oxford Street offers SCO floors, showrooms, etc., which offer value to every penny of the investor.

Another reason for the OS's popularity among current and prospective brands is its location. Located in Chandigarh Capital Region (CCR), Oxford Street, is the first commercial project with direct entry from the highway, and is next to the National Highway 22. It is at a short 10 minutes drive from the Mohali International airport, Panchkula & Chandigarh and is getting a high footfall thanks to its centric location.
