DC AGGARWAL MAKES SURPRISE VISIT

Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, Deputy Commissioner made a surprise visit to inspect government offices in Abohar today.

The DC first visited Nehru Park and interacted with the people there. He directed the officials of the Municipal Corporation on the spot as per the demand of the people to make complete arrangements for the lighting, fix the fountain, repair the roads in the park, properly paint the walls and keep the sanitation system in order at all times. He checked in the presence of the duty staff for various works in Nehru Park and directed to turn on CCTV cameras in the park.

He later visited the city's MRF shed, garbage dump, STP and instructed them to plant saplings on all sides of the garbage dump. He also directed MC officials to maintain proper sanitation in the city.

After this Dr. Aggarwal inspected the SDM office, Tehsildar's office and other government offices in the complex. He also visited Patwarkhana and listened to the grievances of the people. He directed the authorities to ensure that people do not face any difficulty in availing government services in the offices. He said that there should be proper arrangement in the offices for the people to sit while waiting for their turn.
