Dwarka Distt has taken various initiatives to control crime and criminals in the area to ensure a safe and secure environment in the area, as a vision envisaged by the worthy Commissioner of Police, Delhi. Specific emphasis is being given to control organized crime.
On 03/06/2022, a secret information was received at CAIFAN Cell by SI Subhash Chand, i/c CAIFAN, that two African nationals are supplying the fine quality drugs in the jurisdiction of PS Dwarka North, Dwarka District.
M.Harsha Vardhan, IPS, DCP, said, a team comprising ASI Satpal, ASI Vinod, ASI Kartar, HC Jitender, HC Dinesh Kumar, Ct Parmod, Ct Ravi, Ct. Kuldeep, Ct. Hetram, and Ct. Mukesh led by SI Subhash Chand under the supervision of Insp. Naveen Kumar Special Staff/DWD and overall guidance of Sh. Vijay Singh ACP/Operation/Dwarka was constituted to verify the information. It was ascertained that two African Nationals indulging in the drugs racket in Dwarka would come near metro pillar no. 901B, Sec-14 Dwarka, New Delhi. The team laid a trap near the intimated place.During interrogation, they disclosed their names as Kenneth C Iheze S/o Iheze R/o Mbano, Ehime, Imo State, Nigeria, Age 44 Yrs, and ChukwuEbuka S/o John Chukwu R/o Umuchima, Uli, Anambra State, Nigeria, Age 26 Yrs. Accordingly, on the basis of the recovery, a case videFIR No. 342/22, Dt 03.06.22 U/S 8/21/25/29 NDPS Act PS Dwarka North was registered and accused were arrested. Interrogation has ascertained that accused Kenneth had come to India last year and Chukwu came in 2019 on tourist visas and had been residing in ChanderVihar area, in the jurisdiction of PS NihalVihar.
At about 5:53 PM, two African nationals, who were on a Scooty, were apprehended by the team on the instance of the secret informer nearPiller no. 901-B, Sec-14 Dwarka. During their search 12 KG, 600 GM of fine quality Heroin drugs were recovered from their possession.

Source of the drug has been identified and efforts are being made to arrest him, a Nigerian national.
Arrested accused have also been found staying without valid VISA etcand they have also been booked under section 14-A Foreigners Act.
