SIPPY SIDHU MURDER CASE: KALYANI SINGH DAUGHTER OF HIMACHAL HIGH COURT ACTING JUSTICE AGAIN REMANDED TO CBI CUSTODY FOR TWO DAYS

In Sippy Sidhu murder case , the prime accused Professor Kalyani Singh D/o of Ms. Subina Singh, Acting Chief Justice of Himachal High Court, who was again produced before the Special Judge of CBI court in Sector 43 here on Sunday after completion of four days custody , remanded to two days more CBI Custody for further interrogation.

CBI Court advocate pleaded before the judge that the accused Kalyani Singh not cooperated the CBI during the police remand, hence  seven days custody was required to arrest more accomplices of Kalyani, who was seen in CCTV footage from the scene of crime.

Advocate of Kalyani Mr. Narula pleaded that her client is innocent and Sippy had six girl friends included accused Kalyani, out of which Sippy was supposed to get married, but the learned Judge after hearing arguments of both parties, sent Kalyani for two days custody to CBI. 

CBI had registered a case on 13.04.2016 on the request of Chandigarh Administration and had taken over the investigation of FIR No. 374 dated 21.09.2015, earlier registered at Police Station, Sector-26, Chandigarh related to murder of Shri Sukhmanpreet Singh @ Sippy Sidhu in the night of 20.09.2015 in Sector 27, Chandigarh by unknown persons. 

 CBI had registered a case on 13.04.2016 on the request of Chandigarh Administration and had taken over the investigation of FIR No. 374 dated 21.09.2015, earlier registered at Police Station, Sector-26, Chandigarh related to murder of Shri Sukhmanpreet Singh @ Sippy Sidhu in the night of 20.09.2015 in Sector 27, Chandigarh by unknown persons.
 

Sippy Sifhu was a National level Shooter. He had started his own Law firm in the name of M/s Sippy Sidhu LLB at Mohali (Punjab). 

During further investigation, alleged involvement of accused came forth in the case. Accordingly, she was examined and arrested. 

Interestingly the closure report submitted by the CBI earlier was rejected by the victim family and even the CBI Judge earlier. The family of victim was continously demanding the arrest of Ms. Kalayani Singh, who called Sippy in Sector 27, Chandigarh.

Later CBI team taken to the spot of Sector 27B Park , Chandigarh, to creat scene of crime.
