USED TO BLACKMAIL BY HONEY TRAPPING USING FAKE NAME AND IDENTITY , EXTORTED SEVERAL PERSONS. CARRYING CASH REWARD OF Rs. 20000/ ON ARREST., ABSCONDING SINCE 2018.

The staff of Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Cell, Crime Branch has arrested one desperate extortionist woman namely Johri Jabi alias Parveen r/o Fine Enclave, Kallar Road, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh age- 56 years from her abovementioned address. She was wanted in a 2018 Case u/s 384 IPC PS Jamia Nagar.
Incident

On 03.11.2018 complainant (a renowned doctor) had filed a complaint to the local police that he was honey trapped by a woman named Praveen on the pretext of her treatment at home. Complainant also alleged that she visited his clinic for treatment stating that she is resident of Makka, Saudi Arab and is alone.

It was also alleged by the Complainant that the woman called him at her residence stating to be in emergency medical condition and made physical relations with him after intoxicating him through cold drinks. Her associates already present there made video of the doctor with the lady and after that they started demanding extortion of Rs. 50 lakhs from him.

Mr.Rohit Meena, IPS, DCP, A.E/K.C/Crime Branch, New Delhi, said on interrogation of accused she disclosed her identity as Johri Jabi and stated that kingpin of gang Jahangir @ Shekhu is her cousin. At the time of incident, she used to reside at her native place in Hoshangabad, Maharashtra and she was called to Delhi by her cousin for the purpose of extortion through her from the rich/renowned people.

As per the complaint of the doctor a Case u/s 384 IPC PS Jamia Nagar was registered and investigation was taken up by the local police.

During investigation of the case her two accomplices namely Noor Majhar @ Aslam and Mahender were arrested by Special Cell on 11.04.2019 and 12.04.2019 respectively. But the woman could not be arrested as she was using fake name and residing in a rented accommodation, and she absconded immediately after registration of the case.

On 16.06.2022, a secret information was recieved in the office of AEKC that the woman wanted in the above-mentioned case is residing under false identity in Bhopal. It was also learnt that she was carrying cash reward of Rs. 20000/ on arrest. As per the secret information the facts were further verified.

Sensing the gravity of the case a team comprising of W/SI Manju Bala, SI Naresh Kumar, ASI Md. Talim, HC Tej Pratap, and Ct. Anuj, was constituted under the close supervision of Insp. Amit Prakash and under overall supervisions of ACP Sushil Kumar A.E/K.C/Crime Branch, New Delhi. The team acted switly as per the secret information and reached Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. After reaching there the team on the basis of technical surveillance and the information received so far, a trap was laid down and on 18.06.2022, and accused namely Johri Jabi @ Parveen R/o Fine Enclave, Kallar Road, Bhopal, MP Age- 56 years was apprehended from above address.

He hired a rented accommodation for her in Jakir Nagar for honey trapping.

Apart from the duo, two other members were also in the gang namely Mahender and Noor Majhar @ Aslam. She used to trap the rich people of the area as per direction of the kingpin, while Mahender used to make videos by staying hidden. Noor Majhar @ Aslam was responsible for making extortion calls to those persons after sending their videos. She also stated that by this way she trapped 8-10 persons of the area including doctors, bakery owners, builders, business people etc. Details of such persons were provided to her by her cousin.

In this instant case she visited the doctor initially as an ordinary patient and took the mobile number of the doctor on the pretext of being residing alone and having emergency health issues. Further she started calling the doctor and one day she called him at her address for having serious health issues. She secretly video graphed him in her home through other gang members. Thereafter Mahender and Aslam started demanding extortion from the doctor after sending his video to him. When doctor filed complaint in police, she absconded to Hosangabad, Maharashtra.

KNOW THE ACCUSED

Accused Johri Jabi @ Parveen r/o Fine Enclave, Kallar Road, Bhopal, MP Age- 56 years is a housewife. She has no children and she studied up to class 8th. Her husband is cloth vendor in Bhopal. Intimation of her arrest has been given to the IO of PS Jamia Nagar. Further investigation is underway.
