Olympic Day is a celebration of sport health and being together it invites everyone to be active and move together with purpose on 23rd June every year Chandigarh Olympic Association celebrated the International Olympic day at Sector 34 Sports Complex with Presidents and Secretarieries from many sports association of Chandigarh and players.
Speaking on this occasion Mr Ravinder Talwar former secretary General of Chandigarh Olympic association said that this Olympic day celebrates the power of sport to bring people together in peace peace and sport in the Olympic moment which go back a long way and is manifested in the Olympic rules during each Olympic games . Shri NS Thakur secretary general of Chandigarh Olympic Association said it represents making the world a better place through sport.
Harish Kakkar treasurer of Chandigarh Olympics Association said why not look up your nearest sports stadium or otherwise simply get active in sports with your friends or even by yourself to move for peace and for healthy life.Sh. Rajiv Sharma,Honorary Secretary of CRA was also present there.
The players march past began from sector 34 Sports Complex to Sector 34 market and back after that everyone was given souvenirs and refreshment by Chandigarh Olympic Association.
