At the same time, Simranjit Singh Maan defeated Badal, Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party and other rivals. The seat was falls vacant due to Bhagwant Maan becomes Chief Minister of Punjab.

It is noteworthy that the Aam Aadmi Party candidate Gurmail Singh, who was said on various social media and  have spent the most on his election campaign, planted the Aam Aadmi Party in cities and villages talking from Sarpanch to Parliament.

The flex posters could not show any enthusiasm. Explain that Gurmail Singh of Aam Aadmi Party got 247332 votes, Dalveer Singh Goldy of Congress got 79668 votes and Kewal Singh Dhillon, who recently joined  BJP got 66298 votes and Shiromani Akali  Dal Badal candidate Bibi Kamaldeep Kaur Rajoana sister of Rajeana, who killed Beant Singh Punjab Chief Minister got only 44428 votes On the other side . 2471 votes have been rejected.

Aam Aadmi Party's Gurmail Singh has also lost his party's Chief Minister's constituency Dhuri and village Satoj.

It has been proved that the graph of Aam Aadmi Party has come down in three months. The Sangrur by-election has shown the ways to the nine MLAs of the constituency, three cabinet ministers and the Chief Minister himself how big a mistake the people of the state had made by bringing the Aam Aadmi Party to power.

It is also worth mentioning here that the Bharatiya Janata Party, which had a very low number of votes before this election, has now improved and has reached the fifth to fourth position and gained enough .
