BARJINDER SINGH HAMDARD AMONGST HUNDREDS OF NEARS AND DEARS TO BID TEARFUL FAREWELL TO JATINDER HAMDARD

Dr. Ajit Kanwal Singh Hamdard , the former Joint Director of Information and Public Relations Department, Punjab was bereaved when he lost his father Jatinder Singh Hamdard(80) late last night on Saturday, who passed away after a protracted illness here at his residence . He was survived by his son and a daughter.

Notably, late Jatinder Singh Hamdard was the elder brother of Managing Editor of Daily Ajit Dr. Barjinder Singh Hamdard.

Mortal remains of Jatinder Singh Hamdard were consigned to the flames. His son Ajit Kanwal Singh Hamdard performed the last rites in the presence of Dr. Barjinder Singh Hamdard and his wife Sardarni Sarabjit Kaur.

People from different walks of life including several serving and retired officials from Public Relations department, journalists besides , friends and relatives also attended the cremation and shared their heartfelt condolences with bereaved family.

Meanwhile, Additional Director Dr. Opinder Singh Lamba, Joint Director Randeep Singh Ahluwalia and Deputy Director Ishwinder Singh Grewal laid the wreaths on behalf of PR department as a mark of respect to the departed soul. र
