MINING MAFIA KILLED DSP, ONE ARRESTED AFTER ENCOUNTER, CM ANNOUNCES ONE CRORE AND JOB TO KIN

Haryana Police reported arrested an accused in the case of Tawru DSP Surendra Singh's murder after encounter with CIA Police. DSP was crushed to death when he signaled a dumper to stop in Nuh district.

The spokesperson of Haryana Police while giving information here today said that the arrested accused was identified as Ekar Wajo, a resident of Panchgao village, who was a cleaner at a dumper.

Since the incident, many police teams were conducting continuous raids at different places to arrest the accused. The police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the IPC and he will be produced in the court tomorrow.

Expressing deep condolences on the unfortunate death of DSP Sh. Surender Singh who had gone to investigate an illegal mining case in Nuh on Tuesday, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal announced a relief of Rs. 1 crore and job to one of the family members of the DSP.  

DSP Surendra Singh received information about illegal mining in the hills from Panchgram while patrolling the area. After the information, he immediately reached the spot with his team. On seeing the police party, the dumper driver tried to escape from the hill while emptying the dumper, which stopped DSP Surender Singh's vehicle. The driver ignored DSP Surender Singh's signal to stop and ran over him.

The team of the crime branch of the police arrested the accused Ikar in this case. Meanwhile, the arrested accused was shot in the leg and he was admitted to Nalhar Medical College, Nuh for treatment. Police teams are continuously conducting raids to arrest the absconding accused.
