TIRANGA YATRA ORGANISED ON MARTYR NAVPAL’S BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

On the 45th birth anniversary of Shaheed Captain Navpal Singh Sidhu, hundreds of students took out a huge Tiranga Cycle Rally on the main roads in Padampur and chanted the slogan of Shaheed Navpal Singh Amar Rahe.

Under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the chief guest at the wreath-laying program was organized at Shaheed Captain Navpal Singh Vidyalaya. Chief guest Sub-Divisional Officer Subhash Kumar was joined by martyr Navpal’s father Colonel Agyapal Singh Sandhu, brother Rajpal Singh Sandhu, KTPL manager Hitesh Goyal, Beopar Mandal President Khushwant Singh Sandhu, Senior Businessman Bhojraj Jain, BJP Mandal President Gokaran Garg, Rakesh Bhateja, Senior Teacher Harpreet Singh Kang, Bhupendra Shah, Angrej Singh and a large number of other prominent citizens in offering floral tributes to Shaheed Navpal Singh.

Hitesh Goyal gave detailed information on the supreme sacrifice of Navpal Singh Sidhu. Tehsildar Mohinder Singh Ratnu, Bhojraj Jain and other speakers said that blessed are the parents of Shaheed Navpal Singh, who brought glory to the Indian Army with the inspiration of his father, on 30 December 2002 in the Surankote sector of Jammu and Kashmir. He had killed three dreaded militants and then sacrificed his life

During this, on the birth centenary year of young Sindh martyr Hemu Kalani, the distribution of a folder based on his life by Ghanshyam Harwani, Divisional Incharge of Indian Sindhu Sabha, was also distributed.
