Swinging Samurai has announced its team for the upcoming Chandigarh Golf League(CGL) tournament being organized by Chandigarh Golf Club. The team will be led by BS Gill, who has been President of the Chandigarh Golf Club five times .

The team has been announced and following will be it's members - BS Gill(Captain) handicap(HC) - 8, SK Sharma HC- 7, Amrinder Singh HC- 8, Brig PPS Dhillon HC - 8, Deshvir Singh HC - 9, Armaan Singh Mahal HC - 9, Col Raju Walia HC -10, Col AD Singh HC -10, Vinod Chaudhary HC -11, Col Bikram Ahluwalia HC -11, Col BPS Gill HC -11, Ramnik Singh Tiwana HC - 11, Jaipal Singh Hundal HC - 13, Sukirat Singh HC - 14, Jagbir Singh Kesar HC -19, Anil Chadda HC -20 and two women golfers who are part of the team are Jaswinder Gill HC -16, and Preet Kamal Ahluwalia HC - 28.

The other three owners of Swinging Samurai are Manish Goyal, a pioneer who has brought big hospitality industry brands to Chandigarh that include Swagath, S Lounge, Social and Sagar Ratna. Shaleen Kapur – one of the four pillars of Swinging Samurai – is a thought leader, who is a trend setter in the area of Marketing Communications in the region and has multiple business interests. The fourth team owner is Amit Sood, a seasoned media and branding professional.

Talking about the team Swinging Samurai, BS Gill, who is also one of the team owners , said: “Our team members provide a great mix of experience, exposure, composure, energy and vibrancy. SK Sharma is a former DGP. We have one retired Brigadier and four Colonels. Amrinder Singh is a practicing lawyer. We have two promising women golfers in our team.”

The Chandigarh Golf League, starting from September 21, will continue for 40 days and will see participation of 20 teams and 320 players. It is noteworthy that the Swinging Samurai team is being sponsored by well known brands like Schweppes, Aeropolis City and CityWoofer.
