DELHI POLICE NABS 3 INTERSTATE DRUG PEDDLERS AMONG TWO HIMACHAL RESIDENTS WITH SUPER FINE MALANA CREAM WORTH 50 LACS

590 GRAMS OF SUPER FINE QUALITY CHARAS, KNOWN AS MALANA CREAM WORTH RS. 50 LAKH IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET RECOVERED. TWO DRUGS SUPPLIERS FROM HIMACHAL PARDESH AND ONE RECEIVER FROM DELHI ARRESTED. FIVE MOBILE PHONES, ONE MAHINDRA XUV AND ONE MARUTI SUZUKI SWIFT USED IN THE COMMISSION OF CRIME ALSO RECOVERED

A team of ARSC led by Insp. Mangesh Tyagi and Insp. Robin Tyagi under close supervision of Sh. Arvind Kumar ACP/ARSC has arrested Three interstate drug peddlers namely (1) Chand Kumar s/o Sh. Tule Ram r/o Village Shoren Ratocha Kullu Himachal Pradesh, (2) Tejender Kumar @ Tanju S/o Sh. Joginder Singh R/o Village Bakseri Diar Kullu Himachal Pradesh, (3) Rajan Narula S/o Sh. Inder Lal R/O E 318 Budh Nagar Inderpuri Delhi from Main Road, Fruit Mandi Azadpur Delhi vide Case FIR No. 214/22 dated 19.09.2022 PS Crime Branch, Delhi.

590 gms of Super fine quality Chars, Known as “Malana Cream” worth more than Rs. 50 Lakh, mobile phones, one Mahindra XUV 300, and One Maruti Suzuki Swift being used in trading drugs have also been seized. 

A Team of the ARSC Crime branch was assigned the task to keep a vigil on drug traffickers. During the exercise of collecting information, on 19.09.2022, ASI Sachin Singh received secret information that two persons namely Chand and Tejender both Kullu, Himachal Pradesh have procured Charas from Kasol, Himachal Pradesh and will come to Delhi in XUV 300 car bearing no. 1151. They will supply it today to one Rajan R/o Inderpuri, Delhi in Fruit market, Azadpur Mandi, Delhi. This information was developed through human intelligence as well as technical surveillance.

The information was checked through all possible sources and this information was shared with senior officers. A team led by Inspr. Mangesh Tyagi, comprising Inspr. Robin Tyagi, ASI Sachin Singh, ASI Ramdass, ASI Neeraj, HC Mintu, HC Amit, HC Paramjeet, HC Parvinder, HC Indrajeet, HC Abhinav under the close supervision of ACP/ARSC, Sh. Arvind Kumar, was constituted, to intercept the drug consignment.

OPERATION: A trap was laid near fruit market, Azadpur Mandi. The secret informer stated that the charas may also be supplied near Singhu Border. Hence, some of the staff was deployed at fruit market, Azadpur Mandi and remaining staff reached at Singhu Border. Meanwhile, informer informed that charas will be supplied at fruit market, Azadpur Mandi. Therefore, all staff rushed to fruit market, Azadpur Mandi. At about 3.25 PM, one XUV 300 Car no. HP34E 1151 was intercepted and two persons sitting in the car were apprehended.

Mr.Rohit Meena, IPS, DCP, Crime Branch-II, said during interrogation it was revealed that accused Chand Kumar s/o Sh. Tule Ram r/o Village Shoren Ratocha Kullu Himachal Pradesh and Tejender Kumar @ Tanju S/o Sh. Joginder Singh R/o Village Bakseri Diar Kullu Himachal Pradesh purchased Charas from various sources in Himachal Pradesh and supplies to various persons in different states on higher prices. Accused Rajan Narula S/o Inderlal R/o H.No. A-318, Budh Nagar, Inderpuri, Delhi is one of them, who used to purchase Charas from them. He converts purchased Charas into small packets and sold it to his customers.

After enquiry, both the persons revealed their name as (1) Chand Kumar S/o Tule Ram R/o Village- Shoran, Panchayat- Ratocha, District-Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, age 22 years and (2) Tejender Kumar S/o Sh. Joginder Singh R/o Village- Baksari, Panchayat- Diar, District-Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, Age- 22 Years. After the due procedure of the NDPS Act, one packet of Charas was recovered from the car, concealed under the gear glove box.

A total of 590 Gram of Charas was recovered. Meanwhile, receiver of Charas was also reached there in a Swift Car. When he was signalled to stop, he did not stop the car and tried to flee away. Then HC Parvinder broke the driver side window glass of above said car with his elbow and pulled key of car. Ultimately, he was overpowered due to sincere efforts, dedication, great team work and a high level of professional competence. He was identified as Rajan Narula S/o Inderlal R/o H.No. A-318, Budh Nagar, Inderpuri, Delhi, Age- 30 Years. Hence, a case vide FIR no. 214/22 u/s 20/25/29 NDPS Act was registered, and the accused were interrogated and arrested in the case.

He converts purchased Charas into small packets and sold it to his customers.

Efforts are being made to trace the source and receivers of contraband. Further investigation is underway.
