Police achieved a major success when the police team of Police Station Sector-26, under the directions of Ms Palak Goel D.A.N.I.P.S, SDPO East Sub Division and under the supervision of Insp.Maninder Singh,SHO/PS-26 worked out two sensational cases of Burglary & MV Theft by arresting Abhinav @ Abhi S/O Vikram R/O Vill Kandhala Distt- Mohali PB Age 22 Year, Sahil S/O Abrar Khan R/O Vill Bahipur Piwari Teh Bisoli Distt Badhu UP Age 19 Year and Veer Singh S/O Ram Dass R/O H No 157 Vill Dahluwal Distt Panchkula HR Age 44 Year.

Case FIR No. 126 Dt 22.09. 2022 U/S- 380, 454 IPC added 411 IPC:  This case has been registered on the complaint of Om Singh S/o Sh Tejpal Singh H No 744/2 EWS Flat Sec 26 UT CHD in which he reported that at 7:30 AM, he alongwith his wife left the house for their daily routine work and his children left the house for school. At 3:00 PM, when he returned to his house, he found that the locks of main door of the house & Almirah lying inside the house were broken.

On search, he found that One Gold Mangal Sutra, Three pairs Silver Anklet, One Gold ring, One Mobile Phone make Redme C II, his aadhar card & Cash Rs 10,000/- was missing. During the course of investigation accused Abhinav @ Abhi S/O Vikram R/O Vill Kandhala Distt- Mohali PB Age 22 Year arrested and Mobile phone,Silver anklet recovered from his possession.

Case e-FIR No. 549 Dt 22.09. 2022 U/S- 379 IPC added 34,411 IPC:  This case has been registered on the complaint of Sh. Karamjit S/O Sh. Rakha Ram R/O # 180 Village,Kaimbwala,Chandigarh in which he reported that on 20.9.2022 at 4.00 PM he parked his car make Honda City No-HR-03H-5387 from market Sector-7,Chandigarh.At 11.00 PM when he returned he found that his above car was not there and has been stolen by some unknown person.

During the course of investigation accused Sahil S/O Abrar Khan R/O Vill Bahipur Piwari Teh Bisoli Distt Badhu UP Age 19 Year & Veer Singh S/O Ram Dass R/O H No 157 Vill Dahluwal Distt Panchkula HR Age 44 Year arrested and stolen car recovered from their possesion.On further, interrogation of accused 3 more motorcycles i.e 1 TVS, 1 Splendor and 1 Apache have been recovered on the instance of accused. These motorcycled found to be stolen from Panchkula & Zirakpur respectively.

Accused Sahil disclosed that he was remained under Judicial Custody at District Jail,Ropar(PB) in 4 cases of MV Theft and was released from Jail during the month of August,2022.

Profile of accused : Abhinav @ Abhi S/O Vikram R/O Vill Kandhala Distt- Mohali PB Age 22 Year,Qualification-5th Pass,  Sahil S/O Abrar Khan R/O Vill Bahipur Piwari Teh Bisoli Distt Badhu UP Age 19 Year , Qualification-5th Pass AND Veer Singh S/O Ram Dass R/O H No 157 Vill Dahluwal Distt Panchkula HR Age 44 Year, Illiterate. These accused are habitual drug addict and to fulfill the drug desire they have committed thefts.

These accused have been produced before the trial court and their 2 Two days police remand have been obtained.
