BSF MOTORCYCLE RALLY - 2022 STARTS AWARENESS ON NATIONAL INTEGRATION AS A PART OF 'AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV'

BSF “Motorcycle Rally 2022", an organizational mission for awareness on National integration in connection with 75th Anniversary of Independence of India as a part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', was flagged off from JCP Attari, Amritsar, Punjab on Sunday by Shri Arun Pal Singh, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Amritsar.

The BSF "Motorcycle Rally - 2022" spreading the message of patriotism and fraternity among all Indians across the nation and aims to forge positive visibility of youth, so as to encourage youth across the country in stepping up for taking on major roles in shaping the future of the nation as well as to join the ranks of BSF.

Total 30 BSF riders, 15 female Seema Bhawanis and 15 male Janbaz of BSF Motorcycle Team, led by Inspector Himanshu Sirohi traversing through major cities all the way to Kevadia, Gujarat.

On this occasion, the Chief Guest highlighted on the important role of BSF in the development of the country and appreciated the efforts of the force in the field of nation building and creating mass awareness.

BSF "Motorcycle Rally 2022" will traverse 2160 kms, covering historical landmarks beginning from JCP Attari, Amritsar, Punjab, passing through Jalandhar, Abohar, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Gandhinagar before reaching its final destination in Kevadia, Gujarat on 11th October 2022. 

   

During the flag - off ceremony Shri Parminder Singh Bhandal, DCP (Law & Order) Amritsar, Arjuna Awardee (Basketball player) was honoured as Guest of Honour.

Shri Sanjay Gaur, DIG, SHQ BSF Amritsar and Brig. Nawab Ali Khan, 15 Arty along with other BSF officials were also present.

The team will be showcasing documentary on BSF, short films on awareness on Smuggling to create awareness about drug abuse and film to motivate youth for recruitment in BSF, at the halting places of rally.
