A series of festivals are being celebrated in Akshardham, Delhi for the last five days. After Dhan-Thrayodashi, Hanuman Chaturdashi, Deepawali, Shri Govardhan Puja and Annakut festival were also celebrated with great enthusiasm. Thousands of spiritual people came to this festival.

The beauty of the Akshardham complex was made on sight. The entire complex was decorated with pylons of flowers. The saints worshiped Govardhan ji with Vedic Mahapuja. In the pavilion itself, the Gaumata was worshiped and praised with mantras. Govardhan Puja has great importance in the ancient Sanatan tradition of India.

Lord Shri Krishna had saved the Gokul residents from the wrath of Indra by lifting the Govardhan mountain. Since then, the worship of Govardhan ji became popular. This is a unique example of love for nature along with the refuge of God. Now this festival is celebrated with great pomp all over the world. Inspired by Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj, the global propagator of Indian Sanatan culture and religion, this festival is celebrated on a large scale in all the temples of Akshardham Sansthan all over the world.

Along with this, it is the time of harvesting the crop. There is a feeling of the devotees that the dishes of the first crop should be prepared and offered to God. This foodkut i.e. mountain, which is installed in the temples of God, is called Annakut Utsav. Devotees prepare hundreds of dishes and decorate them on a plate in front of the Lord. In the end, the devotees take prasad from the same bhog.

All the festivals of Indian Sanatan Dharma are celebrated with great dignity in the world famous Akshardham temple of Delhi. Devotees from all over the world come here to take advantage of this festival.
