CAMBRIDGE LEARNING PARTNER PROGRAM CENTRE LAUNCHED AT LAMRIN TECH SKILLS UNIVERSITY PUNJAB.

CENTRE WILL PROVIDE WORLD CLASS ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS TO YOUTH OF PUNJAB

Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) Punjab in association with Cambridge University Press has launched Cambridge Learning Partner Program Centre on 4th Nov,2022for the Youth of Punjab.Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura Chancellor LTSU Punjab informed thatMr. Som Parkash IAS(Retd.)Hon’bleMinister of State Commerce & Industry Govt of India was the Chief Guest on the occasion and inaugurated the Centre.

 He further said that thisCentre will be First of its Kind Premier learning Centre aimed at imparting World class English language Skillstostudents for preparing them for IELTS examination and to help them seek overseas employment opportunity in countries like the UK,USA,CANADA,AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND. Dr.Sandeep Singh Kaura expressed satisfaction that CLPP Centre will strengthen their domain skills of students from universities, Colleges, Polytechnics, ITI’s , Nursing Colleges , Pharmacy colleges  ,Skill Centres and Sr. Sec Schools of Punjab as the University has invited all the heads of the institutions to join this Mega event.

Mr.Arun Rajamani MD Cambridge University Press & Assessment UK(South Asia) has joined the event personally and shared the vision of university of Cambridge in setting up this centre at LTSU Punjab.Ms. Parul Mahajan Head of Advocacy – Government Relations Industry Partnership & International Relations National Skill Development Corporation said that NSDC has collaborated with Lamrin Tech Skill University with an aim to provide overseas & domestic employment to 5000 youth of Punjab and adjoining states such as Haryana , J&K and HP under overseas migration model by opening 50 Cambridge Learning Partner Program Center.

Dr. Kaura further announced that LTSU will open overseas employment bureau forPunjab in which 5000 overseas employment& 1lac domestic employment will be given to the youth of Punjab in one year.

Dr.Kaura also informed that Central Ministry of Skills Development Entrepreneurship has always encouraged the initiatives of Skills development of Youth leading to Global employability.

He said that LTSU is First of its kind industry incubated Skill university in India by IBM as Anchor Partner, TATATechnologies & ANSYS as Industry Partner and RERT trust as Academic Partner.The University is established under Punjab State Act no.22 of 2021 and is recognized by UGC, New Delhi.

Dr Kaura informed that on the inaugural day the university has offeredand conducted a Pre-diagnostic IELTS Test free of Cost with a motive to check the basic English language skills of the students. About more than 3000 students from all over Punjaband neighboring districts of H.P.,Haryana, Chandigarh,Rajast hanand Jammu & Kashmir have appeared in the pre-diagnostic Test.

On this mega event panel discussion for academicians on the topic “English Language proficiency and making India Skill capital in the world by enhancing global competence among youth’’ and panel discussion for IELTS Associates on the topic “Designing of Robust Skill Eco System of English Training and Testing of Young Workforce from Punjab, India to Enhance the Overseas Employment Outcome’’ in which more than 100 subject experts and associates discussed their valuable thoughts on the above topics
