Gug Kaur of GTB Khalsa College, Dasuya established a new record by winning 800 metres for women by clocking 2:12.1 in the 74th Annual Athletic Meet of Panjab University, here .

The second new record of the day came in the 5000 metres for men as Sahil Gill of GGD SD College -32 Chiandigarh by clocked 14:42.7 seconds. Karm Singh of Dashmesh Khalsa College. Bada also bettered the record in this event by clocking 14:49.5 sconds.
