In a major breakthrough PO & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police under the directions of SSP/UT Chandigarh Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal IPS and Ms. Shruti Arora, IPS, SP City and in the supervision of DSP/DCC and team headed by Insp. Hari Om Sharma Incharge PO & Summon staff is able to arrest the 05 absconding persons.

  With the help of collection of information from different sources (technical & human) and a day/night search. The following mentioned absconding persons have been arrested with secret information of informer and all the sincere efforts made by ASI Lakhwinder Singh 3376/CP, ASI Satish Kumar 2884/CP, HC Ashok Kumar 1179/CP, HC Surjan Singh 1201/CP, Sr. C. Hardeep Singh 2506/CP and C. Partap Singh 5213/CP, C. Jatinder Singh 4929/CP.

The FIR No. 08 dated 21.01.2018, U/s 68 (1) B Police Act, PS-03 Chandigarh was registered against accused namely Rahul S/o Arjun R/o # Shashtri Market, Bapu Dham, Sector-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of C. Sandeep 6286/CP. He stated that on the night of incident the accused namely Rahul was having liquor at public place near Sukhna Lake, Sector-5. When accused noticed C. Sandeep he had drank the whole bottle at once and broke the empty bottle by throwing it on the road. He was arrested and produced before the Hon’ble Court. After concession of bail he did not appeared before the Hon’ble Court and he was declared PO by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Karanvir Singh, JMIC, Chandigarh vide order dated 17.08.2022. The accused has been sent to judicial custody.

The FIR No. 101 dated 12.03.2017, U/s 61-1-14 Excise Act, PS-31, Chandigarh was registered against accused namely Suraj S/o Rajinder Kumar R/o 1502/1, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh and 1562/1, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh. On the day of incident on 12.03.2017 a police party from PS-31 was on Naka Duty near 3BRD Gate. The accused was passing through there. He was stopped to check and an illegal quantity of wine found with him.

On demand he could not produced any license or permit against the quantity of wine. The case was registered against him. He was arrested and produced before the Hon’ble court. After concession of bail he did not appeared before the Hon’ble Court and he was declared PO by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. PuneetMohinia, JMIC, Chandigarh vide order dated 14.11.2022. The accused has been sent to judicial custody.

Two absconders have been arrested in FIR No. 19 dated 19.01.2013, U/s 147, 148, 323, 341 IPC, PS-36, Chandigarh.The case was registered on the complaint of one Varinder Singh R/o Kharar, Mohali againstaccused namely Sanju @ Sanjay Singh S/o Veer Singh R/o Ward No. 10, GauriMafiRaiwala, Dehradun, Uttrakhand and 2nd accused Rakesh S/o Banwari R/o Village Maniyari, PS- MoniKiReti, District TehriGarwal, Uttrakhand. He stated on the night of incident he alognwith one of his friend went to tavern at Sector-35, Chandigarh.

Two absconders have been arrested in FIR No. 19 dated 19.01.2013, U/s 147, 148, 323, 341 IPC, PS-36, Chandigarh.The case was registered on the complaint of one Varinder Singh R/o Kharar, Mohali againstaccused namely Sanju @ Sanjay Singh S/o Veer Singh R/o Ward No. 10, GauriMafiRaiwala, Dehradun, Uttrakhand and 2nd accused Rakesh S/o Banwari R/o Village Maniyari, PS- MoniKiReti, District Tehri Garwal, Uttrakhand. He stated on the night of incident he alognwith one of his friend went to tavern at Sector-35, Chandigarh.

They noticed that they have been charged more than the actual amount. They complainant to the Manager, who alongwith his 6-7 worker attacked them. Later the case was registered andafter concession of bail accused Sanju @ Sanjay Singhand Rakesh did not appeared before the Hon’ble Court and they were declared PO by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. GauravDutta, JMIC, vide order dated 21.10.2015 and Sh. Amershwar Singh, JMIC, Chandigarhvide order dated 18.11.2013 respectively. The accused have been sent to judicial custody.

One another absconder namely SarojBala W/o Satish Kumar R/o Anand Nagar, Rajpura, Patiala has been arrested in case U/s 138 NI Act. She was declared PO vide order dated 18.08.2019 by the Hon’ble Court. The absconder was produced before the Hon’ble court of Ms. PratimaSingla, JMIC, Chandigarh and released on bail by the court.
