HUMAN TRAFFICKING CASE OF ASSAM SOLVED, 19 YEARS OLD GIRL RESCUED

The staff of PS Kotla Mubarak Pur, South District, New Delhi has done commendable work by rescuing a girl age 19 years in case vide FIR No. 141/2022 U/s 370 IPC PS Rangpara, District Sonitpur, Assam along with Assam Police and Mission Mukti Foundation. 

On 08.12.2022, Assam Police officials along Mission Mukti Foundation reported at PS Kotla Mubarak Pur about a case of Human Trafficking case vide FIR No. 141/2022 U/s 370 IPC PS Rangpara, District Sonitpur, Assam in which a girl aged 19 years was trafficked. 

Mr. Chandan Chowdhary, IPS, DCP, South Distt, said, the team worked on all the available aspects of the case with Assam Police officials and Mission Mukti Foundation. The efforts of the team bore fruits when a secret information was received that the girl was working as a domestic help in a house at Pillanji Village, K. M. Pur. Immediately, a raid was conducted and the girl was traced from Pillanji Village. She was rescued and handed over to police officials of Assam for taking further course of action. The staff involved in good work is being suitably rewarded.

Due to the sensitivity of the case, as the matter pertains to the Human Trafficking case of a girl from Assam, a team comprising of ASI Rajesh, Ct Banwari, W/Ct Amarbati headed by Inspr. Sunil Kumar Godiyal, SHO/K.M.Pur under overall supervision and guidance of Sh. Arun Chauhan, ACP/Defence Colony was formed to traced the girl and arrest the accused person involved in the case.

During the course of investigation, the team so formed collected the details of victim girl and activate their sources. The missing girl was also searched for, at various locations, parks, Shelter homes and NGOs etc. The photo of the girl was also circulated within police net and directed to activate local sources and deployed human resources.
