In the presence of thousands of devotees, the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Smriti Mandir Murti-Pratishtha Mahotsavwas organised at Sarangpur.
A grand temple has come up in the memory of the world-renowned Saint Pramukh Swami Maharaj in Sarangpur village, where he served as the Kothari of the Swaminarayan Temple for many years. Many of the devotees had also arrived from other countries.
Gnaneshwar Swami performed the inauguration rituals of the Pramukh Darshan Pujan Mandapam. Bhadresh Swami split a coconut.Bhaktipriya Swami (Kothari Swami), Tyagvallabh Swami and Narayanmuni Swami performed the yagna rituals. Ghanshyamcharan Swami, Ishwarcharan Swami and Viveksagar Swami performed the mahapuja rituals. Mahant Swami ji Maharaj performed the murti-pratishtha rituals of Shri Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj and Pramukh Swami ji Maharaj. Sadhus, including Narayan Charan Swami, pulled the chariot carrying the murti of Brahmaswarup PramukhSwami Maharaj, hundreds of youths participated in the procession.Atamtript Swami, Shrijiswarup Swami, Ishwarcharan Swami, Viveksagar Swami, Swayamprakash Swami (Doctor Swami) and Gnaneshwar Swami spoke about the life and achievements of Pramukh Swami ji Maharaj.

They said that Pramukh Swami Ji Maharaj established hundreds of temples and three Akshardhams in the country and abroad and initiated well-educated youths for the welfare of the world. Thousands of tribal families were inspired to lead an addiction free life. We can make our life successful by following the teachings of such a great saint.
