MISS WORLD AMERICA SHREE SAINIGETS A WARM WELCOME AT ABOHAR

Shree Saini, the first Indian woman to be crowned Miss World America, was accorded a grand welcome at Brahma Kumaris Rajyoga Bhawan on her arrival here. Center in-charge Pushplata applied tilak on her forehead and presented a bouquet.

Shree Saini was accompanied by her mother Ekta, aunt Shelly, maternal grandparents Vijay Laxmi and Tilak Raj Sachdeva.

Municipal Corporation Mayor Vimal Thatai, Lekhak Parishad president Raj Sadosh, Bar Association Ex-President RS Phore, Joint Secretary Lakhbir Singh, Ramesh Sharma Advocate, Priyam Sharma, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Ritu Gupta, BK Darshana, BK Sunita and BK Shalu honoured the guests.

Mayor Thatai said that Abohar is proud of Shree Saini who brought laurels not only to Punjab but to the whole of India on the world stage. By leading the charity public service work on various occasions including the Covid 19, Shree Saini has also earned the wishes and blessings of 3 lakh 28 thousand followers on Facebook, this is her intact asset.

Shree Saini, the Ist runner-up in the Miss World competition, who was declared as the ambassador of Beauty with a Purpose (BWP) campaign, shared her experiences and said that since childhood, she had a resolve to reach the world stage to be helpful in the education and development of needy children. After moving to the US, at the age of 12, the doctors who fixed a pacemaker due to heart related problem, forbade her to dance, but the artist in her defied the ban. She participated in various competitions and won. This boosted her morale and now she has reached the present position.

The gathering joined Shree Saini in supporting a declaration in favour of BK’s World Peace campaign and lauded the efforts of the largest NGO being run by women.
