THREE DAY INTERNATIONAL MASTERCLASS ON PARAMEDICAL MICROPIGMENTATION IN CHANDIGARH CONCLUDES_

Melinda Gaspar the world renowned permanent makeup and restorative micropigmentation master trainer was in India to conduct a three day masterclass for Indian professionals in Chandigarh.

The masterclass was organised by Dermakraft, a Pune based micropigmentation clinic in association with Chandigarh Dermatology Society.

The three day masterclass was attended by over 18 professionals from all across India and other countries. This was first such masterclass in India where specialised techniques of micropigmentation were imparted to Indian professionals at such a large scale.

The restorative micropigmentation training included techniques that can cover patches of leucoderma, injury scars, stretch marks and also help restore areola of breast cancer survivors when required.

The field of micropigmentation has been growing steadily since last many years in India, but focus of professionals till now mostly has been on cosmetic works like eyebrows and lip permanent makeup. With this masterclass, the permanent makeup professionals and cosmetic doctors can also offer procedures that can help benefit many patients suffering from skin issues where color of skin is lost due to disease or injury.

Melinda Gaspar is popular through out the world for perfect and natural looking results from her techniques and that is the reason that Indian professionals came from far off cities to learn her HelpINK technique.

Micropigmentation is a non surgical procedure where pigments matching to skin tone are inserted in upper layers of skin to reduce skin color defects.

" I am practicing since last 12 years In this field, and I have organised numerous workshops across the world. The organization of this masterclass by Dermakraft, India was very professional and definitely in line with world class standards. I always wanted to visit India, so it's also a dream come true for me as well." says Melinda Gaspar, the master trainer of this training.

Melinda Gaspar has won numerous awards in the field and is a popular speaker and judge in various international permanent makeup Conferences world across.

Chandigarh dermatology society, which is an association of Dermatologists of tricity, was an academic partner in this event and as well supported the event by organising the camp for Chandigarh based patients, who could benefit from such treatments.

Dr Rohit Bansal, president CDS said: "This is a great initiative as this type of procedures are getting more and more acceptance from doctors across the world. It's great that Chandigarh hosted such an event that also trained professionals from Chandigarh and also from across India".

The field of micropigmentation has grown tremendously in India over last few years and with new techniques, the professionals in India can now offer world class treatments that they learnt in this masterclass.

The masterclass which was hosted by Dr Gaurav Raj Chhabra, of Dermakraft, at Hyatt Regency Chandigarh was a great success. Over three days the participants learned various techniques from Melinda Gaspar to offer permanent camouflage for skin pigment defects. These participants would now be instrumental in spreading awareness of such procedures across India and this will benefit many patients by restoring their confidence.
