STARTUP BY TWO YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS OF TRICITY IS SLATED TO BOOST FUN TOURISM

There is good news for gaming enthusiasts of the tricity and even tourists visiting the Chandigarh capital region . A state-of-the-art facility at Panchkula, 'Funville' -The Joy Land, inaugurated by Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta , at Bella Vista Mall , promises fun games, a shooting range, a unique 7D theatre experience and much more.
'Funville' - The Joy Land, is a startup venture by a tricity based young and dynamic entrepreneur duo Gaurav Aggarwal and Saravkam Gulati who are Directors of Funville. It is inspired by their travels to Singapore where this type of infrastructure is an attraction point for tourists.
Gaurav Aggarwal said, "Like it is in Singapore 'Funville' is designed to take care of visitors of all age groups. A Kids Zone is dedicated to children below seven years. For young adults and even kids' parents there is a separate zone."Saravkam Gulati said, "The place in fact has been set up to remove the problem faced by parents who have nothing to do once they leave their children to use a gaming zone. With our set up now they can also engage in gaming even as their children enjoy their own gaming experience. This is our USP."
Lauding the efforts of Gaurav and Saravkam, Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta said that the startup ecosystem has got a big boost in Haryana under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. “Our youth should become entrepreneurs so that they are able to create more and more gainful opportunities for others. The project inaugurated by me will also give a fillip to fun tourism in our region,” said Gupta. The Speaker also enjoyed playing a few games to get a feel of the facility.

Spread over a sprawling 15000 square feet of area, in the lower ground floor of Bella Vista Mall, 'Funville' is the most expansive fun tourism zone of tricity, bringing a Singapore style experience for visitors.
Shedding more light on the project Aggarwal, said that the project is based on the experience gained during his and Saravkam's foreign visits, particularly to Singapore.
Gulati said further, “Location was very important for our project. For almost a year, we had been planning to open 'Funville' but were not getting a suitable place. Finally with the help of Lease Today owners Jatin Sahni and Karan Sharma, we got this space at the Bella Vista Mall that fit the bill just right.”
Fun tourism is an important part of tourism as a whole. A large number of foreign tourists throng Panchkula, Chandigarh and Mohali but they do not have any place to visit for fun or where they have an option of an array of games which they can play. Funville will cater to their needs as well.
Funville is equipped with virtual games, a bumper course, a soft play area and more. It also has a wide range of electronic games. In the soft play area, Funville has a trampoline and an air gun shooting range. It also has a 'Hungry Monkey' restaurant where visitors can grab a bite and drink , this is also well suited for birthday parties.
