60 EXHIBITORS FROM ACROSS INDIA ARE DISPLAY COLLECTIONS, EXHIBITION PROVIDING PLATFORM FOR REVIVAL OF THE ART OF TRADITIONAL HANDLOOM

Ushering in the spring season –a 3-day showcase -Global Fashion - Spring Special; Wedding, Lifestyle & Home Décor Exhibition has kick-started at Himachal Bhawan, Sector 28, Chandigarh. The exhibition will be on till 27th March (Monday) daily from 11 am to 8 pm.

Visitors thronged in large numbers on the first day of the unique exhibition, where 60 + exhibitors from across India have put up exquisite collections.

Mrs. Aman Walia , Co Founder of Global Fashion, the organization that is holding the exhibition said, “With the ongoing spring season, visitors are getting to check on trendy fashion apparel, wedding wear, and lifestyle products at the exhibition."

Rattandeep Singh Walia, Director of Global Fashion added," We have brought exhibitors from different regions of India like Delhi NCR, Punjab, Jaipur, UP, Mumbai etc all under one roof. To make the experience of visitors’ memorable we have kept a lucky draw gift every hour and a ring will be given every day to a lucky visitor.”

Naryanpreet printed sarees made by local artisans are also part of the ensemble. “We wanted to create something that outlasts generations and what better than carrying forward the art of traditional handloom. The aim to revive the art of traditional handloom and give original handloom artisans their due,” said Vanshika, Co-founder of Loom Lane. Jaipur’s brand ‘Atmanirbharr’ is presenting trendy cords – mainly kurtas and pants which are made of the purest cotton fabric with a spread of screen prints in the finest and fast dyes.

As soon as you step into the exhibition – your attention instantly is grabbed by the beautiful and eclectic collection of sarees and unstitched suits displayed by ‘Loom Lane’. The label which is run by two young sisters in law - Parul and Vanshika is showcasing stunning traditional embroidery styles like Ajrak, Chikankari, Ikkat, Jamdani, and Paithani.

Rajha’s by Sakshi has brought an enchanting range of Pakistani suits.

Some labels like Sushree Clothing are experimenting and presenting classic, timeless pieces with a twist of modern fashion. It is offering everything from casual basics to luxurious statement pieces for any occasion. The collection has soothing colours adorned with bright sequins, and targets summer brides.

Another attraction at the exhibition is the stall of 'Attire Mumbai' a label that specialises in dress replicas of Bollywood actresses & renowned fashion designers.

Another main attraction at the exhibition is the display of a wide range of jewellery. Label ‘Piece of Bling’ founded by Poonam Gupta - a homemaker turned entrepreneur has a wide range of jewellery items crafted by artisans. P S Jewels and Jadeorn, from Delhi are also present.

‘Home Attire by Prieyah’ is present with a host of home linen solutions.

Home décor and handicraft items are also available. ‘Toshiba’ from Aligarh has displayed unique metal artefacts. These are a perfect gifting option.

‘Kkedles’ a house of designer candles has brought high quality and personalized fragranced candles - both paraffin & wax. There is an exclusive range of garments specially curated for kids under the banner of ‘Peek A Boo’ from Delhi.
