Operations Cell of Chandigarh Police under the supervision of Sh. Ketan Bansal  IPS, Sh. Mridul, IPS, SP/Operations, Sh. Jasbir Singh, DSP/OPS Chandigarh and team lead by Inspector Amanjot Singh got a major success in arresting following member of Davinder Bambiha Gang being run by Lucky Patial Gang who have been operatingthrough his associates from outside India through whatsapp and other social media networks.

The arrested accused identified as Sahil @ Mukul Rana S/o Dhoom Singh R/o # 3099 Village Maloya Colony, Chandigarh, Present Address:- Green Valley-2, Gillico Valley Kharar Mohali PB age 26 years, Jimmy Bansal S/O Late Sh. Raj Kumar R/o # 91 Chat Mohalla Sector-45 near Aksips School Chandigarh Village Burail Age 29 years.

Brief facts of Case FIR No. 17 dated 12.03.2023 U/s 384,386,120-B IPC & 25, 54, 59 Arms Act PS-49 Chandigarh: On 12.03.2023, SI Naveen 1070/CHG along with Police party was on patrolling in the area of UT Chandigarh and when they were present near Sports Complex Sector-50 Chandigarh. At about 6.50 PM, secret informer met to Police party and gave information about the hardcore gangster namely Lucky Patial resident of Khuda Lohra and his associates namely Prince Kurali presently resident of Canada, Lalli resident of Malaysia, who are operating their gang from abroad through whattsapp and other social media platforms.

He further informed that, on the behest of Lucky Patial his associates namely Mukul Rana Resident of Maloya and presently living in Kharar and his friends namely Mannu Batta Burail are threatening the local Businessmen, Hotel Owners, Night club Owners, Property Dealers, Builders, Restaurant owners, Liquor contractors and other rich persons and collecting the extortion money after threatening them. Secret informer also told that during the upcoming days the associates of this gang can commit major
crime in the area of Chandigarh.

On this information the above said Case FIR No. 17 dated 12.03.2023 U/s 384,386,120-B IPC & 25, 54, 59 Arms Act PS-49 Chandigarh was registered accordingly.

As earlier mentioned in previous press release that during the course of investigation total 05 (five) accused have been arrested in this case and has already been sent to judicial custody.

In the follow up action, on the basis of secret information on 28.03.2023, accused Sahil @ Mukul Rana was arrested from the circus ground, near bus stand sector-17 and from his possession one illegal sophisticated weapon i.e 09 MM Pistol along with 8 live cartridges & 1 magazine were recovered. Further on 29.03.2023, he was produced before the Hon’ble learned court and 03 (Three) day’s police remand was obtained.

On the basis of secret information on 28.03.2023, accused Sahil @ Mukul Rana was arrested from the circus ground, near bus stand sector-17 and from his possession one illegal sophisticated weapon i.e 09 MM Pistol along with 8 live cartridges & 1 magazine were recovered. Further on 29.03.2023, he was produced before the Hon’ble learned court and 03 (Three) day’s police remand was obtained. During the police remand accused Sahil @ Mukul Rana suffered a discloser statement that he has given one weapon to one of his friend namely Jimmy Bansal, who was also arrested .

RECOVERY EFFECTED FROM SAHIL ALIAS MUKUL RANA:  09 MM, Sophisticated Pistol 01,  Live cartridges 08,  Magazine 01.He has a tainted past, he was previously involved in one case of excise
act in Derabassi Punjab Area. Sahil @ Mukul Rana S/o Dhoom Singh R/o # 3099 Village Maloya Colony Chandigarh, Present Address:- Green Valley-2, Gillico Valley Kharar Mohali PB age 26 years, Education 10+2 Drop out, Occupation:- Local Financer.

RECOVERY EFFECTED FROM JIMMY BANSAL:  Desi Katta 01, Live Cartridges 02. He has a tainted past too, he was previously involved in case of Robbery i.e case FIR No. 317 dated 01.11.2014 U/s 394, 411, 34 IPC PS Sector-17 Chandigarh. Jimmy Bansal S/O Late Sh. Raj Kumar R/o # 91 Chat Mohalla Sector-45 Near Akips School Chandigarh Village Burail Age 29 years, Education 10+2 passed, Occupation:- Local Financer.

Kamaldeep @ Kimmi S/O Sudhesh Kumar R/o 365 Village Maloya age 26 years. arrested on 13.03.20 23 with One .32 Bore Sophisticated Revolver 06 live cartridges

Sanjeev @ Sanju S/o Ram Kumar R/o # 332 Village Maloya UT Chandigarh age 23 years. arrested on 13.03.20 23  with One .32 Bore Sophisticated Pistol along with magazine 06 live cartridges

Aman Kumar @ Vicky S/o Sheesh Pal R/O VPO Barwala near BDPO office District Panchkula Haryana age 29 years. on 13.03.2023 with One .32 Bore Sophisticated Pistol along with magazine 06 live cartridges

Chetan S/o Ravinder Kumar R/o # 04 Extended abadi near Pracheen Shiv Mandir Maloya Chandigarh arrested on 17.03.2023 with 6  live cartridges
