The selection of Shubham Nokhwal and Vedika Bihani in UPSC exam is being celebrated in Sriganganagar.
Shubham succeeded in the first attempt; it was the second attempt for Vedika. Shubham got AIR 321 in the general category. Shubham's father Indraj Nokhwal is working as CTI in Railway while mother Shakuntala Verma is a teacher in Government Upper Primary School. The family originally belongs to Chak 56 LNP village.
Shubham studied initially in Kesarisinghpur, then in Sacred Heart Convent School Sriganganagar. He got a BA degree at Hansraj College, Delhi University. He prepared for UPSC from 2021 to 2023 from a coaching institute in Delhi.
Vedika
Shubham's elder sister Swati Nokhwal was selected in the IAS in the year 2016. Presently she is working in Rohtak as Deputy Commissioner in GST Department. His brother-in-law Kuldeep is also an IAS.Vedika achieved AIR 213 in the UPSC exam. Vedika, niece of Seth GL Bihani Education Trust Sriganganagar president Jaideep Bihani, has achieved this feat by passing all the three stages of the examination in 2022.

Vedika achieved AIR 213 in the UPSC exam. Vedika, niece of Seth GL Bihani Education Trust Sriganganagar president Jaideep Bihani, has achieved this feat by passing all the three stages of the examination in 2022. Vedika's dream was to serve the country and the society by becoming an IAS. She worked hard to achieve the goal. Vedika had also passed the written examination conducted by the UPSC in 2021 but could not go through the interview.
