The demise of Pamela Cassiano Curnel is a personal loss to Shree Saini, the first Indian American to represent the United States at Miss World. Shree had on May 11 given a call to wholeheartedly send love to Pamela Cassiano Curnel. The world would not know "Miss World America Shree Saini" is, nor that I've a pacemaker - if it wasn't for the guidance of my Godmother Pamela,” Shree had said.
Born on June 16,1952, Pamela passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends after a private battle with pancreatic cancer on May 26,2023. Funeral services will be held on June 9, 2023 at the Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Moses Lake, WA.
Pam graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1970. Attended Big Bend Community College and Central Washington University.Pam was a professional choreographer and dancer. She enjoyed choreographing for the Moses Lake High School Musicals for 16 years before retiring.Pam was Mrs. WA America 1993 and Mrs. Italy 2022. After finishing her reign as Mrs. Washington 1993, she became the Executive State Director for the Mrs Washington America under the franchise of Mrs America, Inc.She had just celebrated her 30th year as the Executive State Director.
In 1984 Pam met the love of her life, Dr. David Curnel. They were married on July 9, 1985, in Springfield, Illinois. Pam has one daughter, Melissa Curnel, and three grandchildren, whom she loved dearly and was the best Nona to.

Pamela was the highest fundraiser for Victoria Siegel Foundation in Mrs America family. She had raised over 78,000 dollars for children and adults in America.
