Police has achieved a major success by arresting a notorious thief Sandeep Kumar @ Kuda S/O Rishi Pal R/O # 1243 DhanasComplexCHD Age 23 Years and Scrap dealer Ravi Shankar S/o Daya Shankar R/oVillage Kajheri, Sec. 52, Chd. Age- 35 yrs. and 3 cases of burglaryareworked out along with recovery of stolen scrap Copper articlesweighingabout 40 KG, Coins about 5 KG, Activa No. UA07N3320 used in crimebytheaccused.

After verification it has come to light that the Activa usedinthecrime by the accused was stolen from Sector 19 Panchkula. Theinstrument used to break the lock of shops have also beenrecoveredwithin 72 Hours after registration of the cases. The detail of the casesisasunder-

Complainant Om Prakash Goyal S/oRamGoyal owner of Agarwal Paper Store junk dealer shop number 780/2, Govindpura MM CHD and complaint Maman Sharma S/o Sh. Rambhaj Sharma owner of Junk Dealer shop No. 711, Thakur Dawara Road Manimajra Chandigarh reported that on intervening night 30/31.05.2023 locks of their shops have been broken by unknown person and Scrap copper and cash wasstolenfrom the shops

In this regard FIR No. 40 dated 31.05.2023 U/S457, 380IPC, FIR No. 41 dated 31.05.2023 U/S 457, 380 IPC was been registered. thereafter again on dated 03.06.2023 Arbaaz S/o Mohd. Yunusowner ofKhan Paper and Scrap Store Shop No.2247 Mariwala Town ManimajranearFauji Dhaba, MM reported that on intervening night 01/02.06.2023locksofhis shops has been broken by unknown person and Scrap copper andcashwas stolen from the cash box in this regard Case and FIRNo. 47dated03.06.2023 U/S 457, 380 IPC has been registered in Police Station ManiMajra Chandigarh.

After going through all the contents of the FIR, a team was constituted under the leadership of Abinandhan P. D.S.P. NorthEastDivision and under the supervision of Insp. Neeraj Sarna, SHO, PSManimajra. During the course of investigation and after scrutiny of footageand human intelligence the police officials nabbed the accused Sandeep Kumar @ Kuda S/O Rishi Pal along with Scrap Dealer Ravi Shankar S/oDaya Shankar R/o Village Kajheri, Sec. 52, Chd buyer of stolenScrapArticleshas been recovered.

Further investigation in the present case is going on. Moreover, as per record the accused Sandeep Kumar @KudaS/ORishi Pal is a habitual criminal (Drug addict) and he is declared PO in FIRno.31 Dated 25.03.2021 U/S 380, 457, 411 IPC PS Sarangpur.
