Danish-American Punjabi singer Anita Lerche and Diljit Dosanjh of India are among seven nominees for the Best International Artist award for the tenth Annual UK Bhangra Awards to be presented on December 9 at The Conference Suite, West Bromwich, Birmingham, 5 pm to 11:30 pm GMT. It is the sixth time twice-winner Anita has been nominated for the award.
The nominees are: Anita Lerche (Denmark) - UKBA 2301, AP Dhillon (Canada) - UKBA 2302, Biba Singh (USA) - UKBA 2303, Diljit Dosanjh (India) - UKBA 2304, F1rstman (Netherlands) - UKBA 2305, Kamal Chopra (Malaysia) - UKBA 2306 and Luv Randhawa (Canada) - UKBA 2307.
Nominations for the Best Publication are: Asian Express Newspaper, Asian World News, Des Pardes Weekly, Eastern Eye, Jagatwani, Mann Jitt Weekly and The Asian Today.
Nominees for the Best Female singers are: Deesh Sandhu, Mahhi Kaur, Mehak Jamaal, Raj Heer, Roma Sagar, Ruby Akhtar, Sania Salan..
