Mandeep Kaur, a teacher of DAV College Abohar, emerged winner in Hammer Throw competition in the 44th National Master Athletics Championship.
Representing Punjab in the Championship held in Pune, DAV College Physical Education teacher Mandeep secured the first position in the hammer throw competition in the 35-year age group. Contestants from all the states of the country participated in this competition.
Congratulating her, DAV College Principal Dr Rajesh Mahajan said that Mandeep has in the past also won many medals in different competitions and maintained the glorious tradition of DAV. Physical Education Deptt chief Sarabjit Singh was also present.
