The Special search operation led by Arun Kumar Verma, Commandant, 66 Battalion BSF, in collaboration with Police Sadar Fazilka was conducted in the areas of bordering village Mahar Khiva, Mansa and Mahar Sona. The main objective of which was to apprehend the persons involved in suspected drone activity which took place on 7th April. An intensive search operation was launched in the entire area.

While carrying out the extensive search, suspicious activity of three persons was noticed. During the preliminary questioning, the suspected persons did not give satisfactory reply and several suspicious mobile numbers were also found in their mobile phones, on the basis of which they were apprehended and handed over to Police Sadar Fazilka for further course of action and necessary investigation.
