In view of ‘Durga Ashtami festival’ all schools in Haryana will open 2 hours late on April 16, from 10 am to 2:30 pm. The revised timing will be applicable to both students and teachers.
Sharing information in this regard an official spokesperson said that a letter has been issued by the Directorate of School Education to all District Education Officers and District Elementary Education Officers in the state in this regard.
He further informed that on April 16, the school timings will be from 10 am to 2:30 pm. On normal days, schools function from 8 am to 2:30 pm. The department has given a two-hour concession considering the ‘Durga Ashtami’ festival.
