AAM AADMI PARTY LEADER SANJU ARRESTED WITH HEROIN

The residents of village Jaulon Kalan apprehended  Sanjeev Kumar Sanju with three grams of  heroin (Chitta) and handed over to  Mubarakpur police. The police have registered a case against the accused and started further action. After the police arrested the accused, politics flared up in Dera Bassi. Opposition parties circulated photographs of the person being caught with white collar Kuljit Singh Randhawa on social media and alleged that the arrested accused is the  Block president of Aam Aadmi Party.

In this regard, former MLA and Lok Sabha Patiala candidate of Akali Dal , held a press conference and alleged that the leaders of the party, which claimed to completely eradicate drugs in four weeks, are now selling drugs openly. He said that the accused is the block president of the party and he presented the party's appointment letter and several photographs with constituency MLA Mr. Randhawa to the media.

ASI Surinder Singh said that around 9:30 pm, the residents of village Jaulon Kalan nabbed a person with chitta and handed him over to the police.   The police have registered a case against the accused under the NDPS Act and produced him in the court today and have taken him on police remand for one day. Police said that this person was doing black money business in Derabassi area for a long time. The police had not come till now and the villagers did a recce and arrested them along with White last night.

Talking about this, constituency MLA Kuljeet Singh Randhawa said that the opponents are defaming the party by bringing false allegations. He said that the name of the party block president matches with that of the accused who is from Khelan village whereas the accused is a resident of Jaulon Kallan village who has nothing to do with the party. Regarding releasing the photographs of the accused with the constituency MLA, the opponents said that the accused sometimes come to the meetings and get photographs taken.
