In a major breakthrough team of Police Station - Cyber Crime, UT, Chandigarh busted an PAN India gang of 4 members, who were cheating innocent people across India (Chandigarh, Delhi, Mumbai, Ranchi, Surat, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata etc.) through fake placement services and offering fake Jobs Online, in case FIR No. 32, Dated: 18.04.2024, U/s 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120 B IPC of PS-Cyber Crime, Chandigarh under supervision/direction of Sh. Ketan Bansal, IPS, SP/Cyber Crime, Chandigarh, close guidance of Sh. A Venkatesh, DANIPS, DSP/PS-CC& IT, UT, Chandigarh and leadership of Inspector Ranjit Singh, SHO, PS-Cyber Crime, Chandigarh. 

Above said case was registered on the complaint of a lady from Chandigarh in which she mentioned that she upload her resume on naukri.com website. She received an email from mail id srhrexecutive009@gmail.com for interview on 2.11.2023 at SCO No. 142-143-144, 1st floor, Sector 17, Chandigarh.

After that visited on said address for interview, she met 3 boys and one girl there, one person disclosed his name Mohit Rajput another person introduced himself as HR. Girl present there told her that she has been selected in Max Hospital Mohali and gave her letter of intent of hire in the name of Paramount HR services and email id paramounthrservices999@gmail.com was mentioned on the letter. After she told that they will provide her an laptop, bag and asked to pay Rs. 21500/- in advance. They provide her an scanner and she scan for Rs. 21500/-.

They also gave her payment receipt in the name of Paramount HR services. After that she received call from their mobile numbers and they demand more money, she again visited on given address and she came to know that office has been closed, same on taken on rent by them for two days only. After that she visited at Max hospital, Mohali regarding her joining but she found that there are no such vacancies. Thus alleged person cheated her with Rs. 21500/-.

Further, during the course of investigation concerned record obtained and found that alleged person are obtaining data from Naukri.com, Apnajob.com websites and cheating people across India (Chandigarh, Delhi, Mumbai, Ranchi, Surat, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata etc.).

On the basis of technical surveillance and upon secret information raid conducted at Jaipur, Rajasthan and on 18.04.2024 alleged (1) Md Danish Quamar @ Mohit Rajput S/o Md Sahulul Haque, PO. & PS. Azamnagar, Distt Katihar, Bihar, Age 28 Years (2) Sunil Singh @ Rakesh S/o Lt. Nanu Singh, H.no. 348/ H-8, Cicil Line, Delhi North 54, Age 48 Years (3) Sumit S/o Surender Singh, H.no. 78, Gali No.3, A Block, Mahalaxmi Enclave, Karwal Nagar, Delhi North 94, age 24 Years are arrested from Room No. 302, Hotel Gem Plaza, B-11/12, Fateh Singh Market, opposite ITC Rajputana Hotel, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Arrestee person firstly created fake job placement firm in the name of Paramount HR Services for cheating purpose. They obtain the data of people who upload their resume on website Naukri.com, Apnajob.com for the job. After getting the data they analysis the data and nominate the city/ area according the quantity of candidates applied for the job. Then they create email id in the name of placement service and call the candidates for interview by sending the emails to candidates. 

Modus Operandi:-

Arrestee person firstly created fake job placement firm in the name of Paramount HR Services for cheating purpose. They obtain the data of people who upload their resume on website Naukri.com, Apnajob.com for the job. After getting the data they analysis the data and nominate the city/ area according the quantity of candidates applied for the job. Then they create email id in the name of placement service and call the candidates for interview by sending the emails to candidates.

After that they reach at selected city/ area and take premises co-work space for rent for 5/7 days. After that Sunil Kumar @ Rakesh conduct the interview of candidate and select them for job and demand money for the kit/ accessories required for their job. To gain the faith they also gave them payment receipt of Paramount HR services.

Sumit meet unselected candidates outside of interview premises and he offer them that if they pay the amount then he can help them to pass the interview and also cheat them. After conducting fake interview for 5/7 days at one place they left the place, switch off their mobile phones and move to Delhi. They perform the same practice repeatedly across India. Further, bank record also obtained and found that cheated money was duped in SBI Bank account, which is found in the name of Shreya, Boriwali, Mumbai, cheated amount further transfer in Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank. It has also come to light that candidates who approach them for job, arrestee person open bank accounts in their names and use those bank accounts for cheating purpose. They distribute the cheated amount as per their role.

KNOW THE ACCUSED: 

Md Danish Quamar S/o Md Sahulul Haque, PO. & PS. Azamnagar, Distt Katihar, Bihar, Age 28 Years. Qualification: Mechanical Engineer Open the Paramount HR Services, obtain the data from Apnajob.com of person who applied for the job online, after that he analysis the database and select the city for interview i.e. (Chandigarh, Delhi, Mumbai, Ranchi, Surat, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata etc.) manage the cheated amount.

Abinash Kumar @ Gaurav Khote S/o Ashok Kumar, H.no. 104, First Floor, Gali No. 2, Lala ji building, Sector 44, Noida. Qualification: MFA (Master in Fine Arts) Parter in Paramount HR Services, Call the candidates for interview.

Sunil Singh S/o Lt. Nanu Singh, H.no. 348/ H-8, Cicil Line, Delhi North 54, Age 48 Years, Qualification: M.com Perform as HR manager and take interview of candidates after interview he demand for money as per job prescription.

Sumit S/o Surender Singh, H.no. 78, Gali No.3, A Block, Mahalaxmi Enclave, Karwal Nagar, Delhi North 94, age 24 Years. Qualification: 12th Manage the sim cards for calling purpose, Manage the unselected candidates.

Earlier alleged Md Danish Quamar and Abinash Kumar @ Gaurav Khote were arrested in police station karol bhag Delhi
