A team of Special Staff/Outer North Distt. and SWR/Special Cell in two different operations have arrested two sharpshooters and an informant associated with the notorious Tillu Tajpuriya gang and worked out the broad day light murder case of PS Alipur area. With the arrest of these two shooters, the mystery of murder has been solved.
Both the arrested individuals hail from Haryana and were involved in killing of a rival gang member. Murder was planned and orchestrated from Prison to assert dominance and to avenge Gang Leader Tillu Tajpuria’s death in jail by Gogi gang members. The informant behind the targeted killing, who is local resident of Alipur area, has also been arrested.
INCIDENT : On 22.04.2024 a PCR call regarding firing near opposite Bus stop, Alipur was received at PS Alipur, Delhi. Upon receiving the call, the staff of PS Alipur reached the spot where they found a Tempo No. DL 1LAC 9466, bearing multiple gunshot marks. Subsequent inquiry revealed that 05 individuals had opened fire on the occupants of the aforementioned Tempo. The injured persons were immediately rushed to SRHC Hospital, Narela, for treatment. 01 individual was declared brought dead by the doctors, while another sustained gunshot injuries to the leg.
The deceased was identified as Narender Malik @ Dhilla, S/o Chand Singh R/o H. No 292, Dhuliya colony, Alipur, Delhi, aged 26 years. The injured was identified as Tarun Yadav S/o Baij Nath Yadav R/o Dhuliya colony, Alipur, Delhi. During inquiry, it was revealed that the brother of the deceased, namely Surender @ Monu, is an active member of the Gogi gang and is running in Judicial Custody for the last four years in connection with FIR No 55/2020 U/s 302/506 IPC at PS Alipur. Local inquiries further revealed that after the arrest of Surender, his brother Narender @ Dhilla (deceased) along with his associates, joined the Gogi gang and became active member of the gang.
Subsequently, based on the statement provided by the injured Tarun Yadav, a case FIR No 319/24 u/s 302/307/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act was registered at PS Alipur and further investigation was carried out.
OPERATION: Keeping in view the sensitivity of the highlighted broad day light murder case in Alipur area, multiple teams of Delhi Police started working on it. Intergang rivalry was suspected as the deceased Narender was connected with Gogi Gang but all the angles were being investigated. There is an old rivalry between Jitender @ Gogi and Sunil @ Tillu Tajpuriya, both resident of Outer Delhi’s Alipur area since their college days in 2012-13.
After his audacious escape from custody of Haryana Police in 2016, Jitender Gogi along with Kuldeep @ Fazza & Rohit @ Moi had remained involved in many broad daylight shootouts, prior to arrest by Special Cell in 2020. Kuldeep @ Fazza who escaped from custody of police in March 2021, was killed during action by Special Cell, Delhi. Later, Jitender @ Gogi was killed in Rohini Court by rival Tillu Tajpuriya gang.
In May 2023, Tillu Tajpuriya was stabbed multiple times by rival gangsters in jail and killed. Yogesh @ Tunda, resident of Dhuliya Colony, Alipur is now leading the Gogi gang. The deceased Narender was also a resident of Dhuliya Colony, Alipur and belong to Gogi gang. Gang war is suspected to be behind the above murder case.
A dedicated team of Special Staff/OND comprising of SI Vishal, SI Naveen, ASI Praveen, ASI Rakesh, ASI Sandeep, ASI Anil Malik, HC Mukesh, HC Sanjay HC Deepak, HC Satish, HC Anoop and Ct Sachin was constituted headed by Insp. Pawan Yadav and under the supervision of Sh. Yash Pal Singh, ACP/OPS/OND and Overall guidance of DCP/Outer North- Ravi Kumar Singh.
Mr. Rajeev Ranjan Singh, IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police, said, during investigation it was ascertained that this murder was the result of old rivalry between the Tillu Tajpuriya Gang and Gogi gang. The team analyzed the CCTV the footages near the spot and it was found that a total of 05 assailants opened fire on the Tempo in which deceased and injured were sitting. All 05 assailants came on two motorcycles and after committing the crime they swiftly fled towards Jindpur, Alipur, Delhi.Thereafter, the team on the basis of technical surveillance and local intelligence was successful in apprehending 02 persons namely Happy S/o Vinod R/o Alipur Delhi and Vishal S/o Tejveer Singh R/o VPO Lath, Sonepat, Haryana.
Accused Vishal is an active Sharp Shooter of Tillu Tajpuriya Gang who along with his four associates namely Sumit @ Jhumka, Sagar, Neeraj and Bharat opened fire on deceased Narender and the injured Tarun Yadav.
Further it was also revealed that accused Happy was also present at the spot and was continuously providing the information to assailants through mobile phone about the movement of the deceased Narender.
In a different parallel operation by Special Cell, team of Special Cell, South Western Range under the supervision of Sh. Sanjay Dutt, ACP/SWR and overall guidance of DCP-Amit Kaushik was tasked to solve the mystery behind the blind murder case of Alipur area and started working on the said case. The team worked relentlessly day and night, and through manual surveillance managed to gather valuable information about the associates of Tillu Tajpuriya gang, who are operating behind the bars.
On Sunday, a specific input was received by the team of Insp. Sandeep Dabas about one person namely Bharat Kumar, who is resident of Charkhi Dadri, Haryana involved in Alipur murder case would come near Outer Ring Road Vikaspuri, Delhi leading towards drain. Accordingly, a trap was laid at the Outer Ring Road Vikaspuri leading towards drain and apprehended one person. Upon questioning by police team, he was identified as Bharat Kumar @ Babu s/o Sunil Kumar r/o H.No. 1284 Village Bond Kalan, Tehsil & District Charkhi Dadri, Haryana Age 23 Years. During his cursory search one sophisticated pistol i.e. .32 bore and 03 live cartridges were recovered from his possession. He also disclosed his involvement in Alipur Murder Case. Accordingly, a case of Arms Act has been registered against him and he has been arrested.

RECOVERY: One motor cycle used in commission of offence., Two sophisticated Pistols i.e. .32 bore
INTERROGATION: During interrogation accused Vishal S/o Tejveer R/o VPO Lath, Sonepat, Haryana and Bharat s/o Sunil Kumar r/o Village Bond Kalan, Charkhi Dadri, Haryana disclosed that on the instructions of jailed gangster Amit @ Dabang, they along with their associates namely Sumit @ Jhumka, Sagar and Neeraj opened fire on deceased Narender and injured Tarun Yadav.
Accused Vishal disclosed that he came in contact with Amit @ Dabang through one of his friend and thereafter he started talking to Amit @ Dabang over phone. In march 2024, Amit @ Dabang provided a safe house to him and his associate Sagar for the murder of a member of Gogi gang and the name of the gang member will be provided to them later on. Thereafter a day prior to crime, accused Sumit @ Jhumka, Neeraj and Bharat joined them in Nathupura, Sonipat border area. Accused Sumit @ Jhumka provided pistols and live cartridges to other assailants. Two motorcycles, used in crime, were also provided by the henchmen of Amit @ Dabang near Hanuman Mandir, Alipur.
Thereafter on 22.04.2024 all above accused persons came to the spot from Nathupura area on two different motorcycles. Accused Happy was also present at the spot who took instructions from Amit @ Dabang and provided the information regarding movement of the Tempo. After committing the crime, all accused went back to Nathupra and on the next day, they left from Nathupura and went separately to different places in Haryana.
The arrested accused persons are being interrogated for their involvements in other cases and efforts are being made to arrest their associates and fire-arms recovery. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
