POLICE REMAND OF AKALI LEADER BIKRAM MAJITHIA EXTENDED TO FOUR DAYS

Akali leader and former Minister Bikram Majithia on Wednesday produced before the Mohali court after completion of 7 days Police remand, where the court extended police remand for four days. 

Majithia was arrested by the vigilance bureau team from his Amritsar residence and remanded to seven days police costudy by Mohali Court.

While talking to the media, Distt. Atrorney Preet Inderpal Singh said that the police can also take Majithia to Gorakhpur in Utter Pradesh during remand..

He said that Majithia misled the vigilance team during the investigation. The government lawyer claimed that Majithia did not cooperate during the investigation conducted in Shimla and Majitha.

The government lawyer also said that 402 hectares of benami property were found in Shimla and investigation going on.
