Accused persons were involved in a sensational murder at Ritoli, Rohtak in June 2025. They had been on the run since the incident of murder. The victim was targeted by Himansh Bhau for being close relative of his enemy. A Motorcycle, 02 firearms & 04 live cartridges recovered.

Two accused Mohit & Bhumit of Haryana, (Himanshu Bhau Gang) wanted in murder case of Rohtak, HR have been arrested after a brief exchange of fire by the Special Cell NR, from from Narela, Delhi. said Amit Kaushik, DCP/Special Cell .
On Saturday team of Special Cell/Northern Range, led by Inspr. Anuj Nautiyal and Inspr. Chandan Kumar under the supervision of Sh. Rahul Kumar Singh, ACP, Spl. Cell/NR has arrested two sharp shooter & operative of Himanshu Bhau gang involved in a gruesome murder at Ritoli, Rohtak.
Special Cell, Delhi Police keeps working on gangs involved in extortion/targeted killings & gang war. In one such incident, on 01.06.2025 in morning hrs. a person was murdered by bike born assailants at Ritoli, Rohtak regarding which a case was registered at P.S. Shivaji Colony, Rohtak.
During investigation, it was learnt that the victim was killed on the directions of gangster Himanshu @ Bhau, as the victim was paternal uncle of Ankit, who had killed Rohit @ Bajran, cousin of Himanshu Bhau and his uncle in March 2022.
Himanshu @ Bhau is a dreaded criminal involved in targeted killings and extortion from builders, owners of Car Showrooms & financers in Haryana & adjoining area of Delhi/NCR. He is resident of Village Ritholi, Rohtak and escaped from India running his gang from abroad.
The dedicated team deployed sources on ground to collect intelligence about the absconding shooters involved in this case. On 04.07.25, the team received an specific input that 02 members of Himanshu Bhau gang wanted in Ritoli murder are about to come in Narela, Delhi with firearms.
On this information, a strategic trap was laid in night. In the early hours of 05.07.25, two suspects were spotted riding on a motorcycle. When signalled to stop, they sped up and started firing at police. In self-defence, Police fired back and succeeded in apprehending both of them.

On interrogation, Bhumit disclosed that he had been associated with gangster Himanshu @ Bhau through a person from Badwasni, Sonipat. His friend had a dispute with someone in Mokhra and planning to murder his rival.
In exchange of fire, both the accused persons sustained injuries on their legs and taken to hospital immediately for treatment. The identity of rider was revealed as Bhumit Malik R/o Mokhra, Rohtak, Haryana, age 21 Yrs. & pillion rider as Mohit Vashisht R/o Marodhi, Rohtak age 24 Yrs. Two firearms with four live cartridges were recovered from them. The recovered Motorcycle was found stolen in March 2025 from Subhash Nagar, Delhi. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Special Cell and investigation is on.
On interrogation, Bhumit disclosed that he had been associated with gangster Himanshu @ Bhau through a person from Badwasni, Sonipat. His friend had a dispute with someone in Mokhra and planning to murder his rival.
He contacted Bhumit, who in turn sought help from Himanshu @ Bhau. Himanshu @ Bhau assured his support, but on the condition that they first eliminate Anil, relative of his enemy Ankit, who had killed Himanshu’s cousin & his uncle in March 2022. Driven by the desire for revenge, Bhumit and his friend agreed to the condition and allied themselves with Himanshu Bhau. Bhumit roped in other persons also in the planning. On 01.06.25, they all assembled and killed Anil in early hours. Weapons were provided to them by Himanshu Bhau, who was in constant touch with the assailants during the incident. After the incident, Bhumit & Mohit went underground and kept changing their locations in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Uttarakhand, MP, UP, Rajasthan & Delhi. Haryana police have been informed accordingly.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Accused Bhumit was born in Mokhra, Rohtak and studied upto 10th Class from Rishikul Sr. Sec. School, Village Bashana, Rohtak. After discontinuing studies, he started helping his father in farming. With the passing of time, he fell in bad company and began engaging in crimes under various heads i.e. Arms Act, Attempt to Murder, Murder etc. In an attempt to assert dominance in the locality, he established connections with famous criminals including gangster Himanshu Bhau. At least half dozen FIR were registered againat the accused in Rohtak.
Accused Mohit was born in Mahadoi Jaran, Rohtak and is a class 10th drop out. After discontinuing studies, he fell in bad company and began engaging in crimes like Thefts, Robbery etc. In an attempt to assert dominance in the locality, he befriended with local criminals including Bhumit, through whom he came in contact with Himanshu Bhau. He was involved in at least 7 cases registered against him in different police station of Haryana.
