An ambitious campaign of planting 50 thousand saplings was launched by the Club of Youth Spirit Fatuhi.
The massive plantation program not only spreads awareness towards the environment, but also presents a great example of community unity and participation. The campaign started with a grand rally, in which saplings were loaded in 50 tractor-trolleys and an enthusiastic procession was taken out through the village to the tune of DJ and drums. Tilak was applied on the foreheads of all the participants, which gave the event the form of a cultural and social festival.
The rally passed through the village arousing enthusiasm towards environmental conservation. Residents of nearby areas contributed in planting saplings.
