IN A MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH CHANDIGARH POLICE ARRESTED TWO INTERNATIONAL IMMIGRATION FRAUDSTERS

THE ACCUSED WERE PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN PREPARING FAKE PASSPORTS FOR CONSPIRATORS IN THE SIDHU MOOSEWALA MURDER CASE, NAMELY ANMOL BISHNOI AND SACHIN THAPAN AND OTHERS.

In a major break through PS 34 police reportedly arrested two international immigration fraudsters  namely Harmeet Singh @ Titu Chand, S/o Late Sh. Parshotam Lal, R/o House No. 438, Baba Naam Dev Colony, Kapurthala, Punjab, aged 42 years. and later based on his disclosure, another accused  Arjit Kumar @ Ajit @ Tony @ Paji, S/o Sh. Krishan Lal, R/o House No. 1250, Rani Bagh, Near Main Market, North West Delhi, aged 58 years.

MOFUS OPRANdI: The accused  previously involved in preparing fake passports for conspirators in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, namely Anmol Bishnoi and Sachin Thapan and others. The present accused, Arjit Kumar, was earlier arrested by the Special Cell, New Delhi along with co-accused Rahul Sarkar, Navneet Prajapati, and Som Nath in FIR No. 255/2022, U/S 465, 466, 471, 474, 120-B IPC & 25 Arms ActPS Saket, Delhi and present he is on bail in this case.

The ongoing investigation has revealed that the accused have duped multiple innocent individuals by promising to arrange visas and international travel documents using forged and fabricated documents.

Police registered FIR No. 68 dated 09.05.2024 Under Sections: 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC and Section 24 of the Emigration Act, 1983 Police Station: Sector-34, Chandigarh.

The complainant Manjeet Singh  S/o Sh. Randhir Singh, R/o Village Sanch, Tehsil Pundri, District Kaithal, Haryana.As per the complaint, in August 2022, the complainant received a call from Titu Chand (Guru Tour and Travel), who claimed to facilitate foreign travel and maintained an office at SCO 148, Cabin No. 410, Sector 34-A, Chandigarh. The complainant was offered a visa package to Greece for ₹10 lakhs per person (plus embassy charges).

Manjeet Singh and his relatives (including his brother, nephews, and brother-in-law) paid a total of ₹78 lakhs in accounts of Harmeet Singh @ Titu Chand, Anurag Malha and Arjit Kumar and ,₹ 02 lakhs to Tajinder Singh and ₹20 Lakhs Cash and 5 lakhs for Delhi embassy through various means. They were issued fake visas and dummy tickets. Upon arriving at the airport on 19.09.2022, immigration authorities flagged the visas as forged, and the group was denied departure.Subsequent attempts to contact the agents were futile as they had vacated their office.

Despite repeated assurances and minor repayments (₹50,000), the complainant was threatened and intimidated. In a recorded phone call, Titu threatened to assault Manjeet when he followed up regarding the money.

KNOW THE ACCUSED: Harmeet Singh @ Titu Chand s/o Parshotam Lal House No. 438, Baba Naam Dev Colony, Kapurthala, Punjab Age: 42 years, studied upto 8th, working engaged  in fraudulent immigration activities, preparation of fake documents (passports, visas, Aadhaar cards, voter IDs, educational certificates)

Arjit Kumar @ Ajit @ Tony @ Paji S/o Krishan Lal, House No. 1250, Rani Bagh, Near Main Market, North West Delhi, Age: 58 years is a gradustyed and engaged in  document forgery and immigration fraud using fake documents
