Under the SCERT of the Education Department Punjab, International Youth Day was celebrated at School of Eminence Fazilka under the Adolescent Education Program. Painting competitions and seminars were organized under the leadership of District Education Officer (Secondary) Ajay Sharma, District Education Officer (Primary) Satish Kumar and Principal Hari Chand. District Public Relations Officer Bhupinder Singh Brar was the chief guest.
DPRO Brar said that the adolescence of the youth is such that some children deviate from their studies in this stage and adopt bad habits due to which they lose interest in studies. They have to give up bad habits and continue studies continuously to be successful in their lives.

Darshan Taneja informed the youth about the ill effects of drugs. Sandeep Aneja gave brief information about AIDS. Nodal Officer Vijay Pal said that only if children become self-reliant in this stage and understand good and bad, then they can achieve a higher position in the future. District Coordinator Gurchhinder Pal Singh announced the results of the painting competition. The winners were honored by the chief guest. The stage was conducted by Surinder Kumar.
