Under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan, Principal, DAV College, Abohar, the two-day Talent Hunt 2025 kickstarted on Thursday. Competitions on the first day included Creative writing, Poetry recitation, Debate, Mehndi, Story writing, Essay writing, Landscape Drawing, Poster making, Phulkari, Pakhi making, Guddiyan Patole making, Paranda making, Basket making, Peedhi making, Rasa vattana and photography. Students displayed great enthusiasm and passion, showcasing their creative talents.
Dr. Mahajan encouraged the students to participate with the same enthusiasm and zeal, emphasizing that creative activities, along with academic pursuits, can elevate a person's social standing. DAV College students have consistently distinguished themselves in academic pursuits as well as creative activities. He expressed hope that the winning students will bring glory to the college in upcoming youth festivals and cultural events.
Dean EMA Dr Varinder Kumar, Deputy Dean Dr Gaurav Vij, Dr Ritu Pasrija and other teachers were present on the occasion.
