BSF WESTERN COMMAND IG SUPERANNUATED AFTER 38 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE

Shri Pramod Kumar Yadav, Inspector General (Human Resource & Logistics), Headquarters Special Director General, Border Security Force (BSF), Western Command, Chandigarh, superannuated on Friday, after successfully completing 38 years of dedicated service.

 Throughout his distinguished career spanning 38 years, he rendered commendable service in various challenging and highly inaccessible regions across the country. He also made a significant impact during three separate deputations at prestigious institutions. For his exceptional operational achievements, he was decorated with the 'President's Award for Gallantry' twice, the 'Police Medal for Meritorious Service', and numerous awards by the Director General of the Border Security Force.

Concurrently, Sub-Inspector Joginder Singh also superannuated today after completing 40 years of remarkable service.

To mark this occasion, a farewell ceremony was organized at the BSF Western Command Headquarters campus. During the event, Shri Harbaksh Singh Dhillon, Inspector General (Operations), presented mementos to both Inspector General Shri Pramod Kumar Yadav and Sub-Inspector Joginder Singh. On behalf of the entire Western Command, Border Security Force, he conveyed heartfelt gratitude for their devoted service and extended best wishes for their healthy and prosperous future life.
