THE FIRST INDO-NEPAL INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION WILL BE GRANDLY ORGANISED IN POKHARA

The first Indo-Nepal Championship, organized by the Indian Sports and Education Federation (ISEF), will be held in Pokhara, Nepal, from Dec. 30, 2025, to January 3, 2026.

Players from various states and districts of India and Nepal will participate in this international competition. The competition includes outdoor and indoor sports such as athletics, Kabaddi, badminton, cricket, basketball, long jump, football, boxing, karate, kickboxing, yoga, and volleyball.

The reporting point for the teams will be Gorakhpur Junction, from where all participating teams will depart on December 30, 2025. The return journey will be on January 3, 2026.

Senior Sports Manager Manoj Yadav said that the main objective of organizing this competition is to provide players with international-level experience and to further strengthen friendly relations between India and Nepal through sports.

In this important meeting, the federation's founder and senior sports manager, Manoj Yadav, assigned high-level responsibilities to several new and talented individuals in the federation. This step has been taken to connect young people with the organization and bring in new energy.

The office bearers of the organizing committee expressed their commitment to the objectives of the federation and said that they will work hard to nurture sporting talent in India and give them recognition at the national and international levels. They specifically emphasized promoting sports at the grassroots level, expanding sports facilities in rural areas, and encouraging female athletes.

Vimal Yadav congratulated the organizing committee and the players for the international games and expressed confidence that the federation will take the players to new heights. He said that the federation's goal is not only to train athletes, but also to mold them into better human beings and promote sportsmanship.
