THE BLAST NEAR SIRHIND RAILWAY STATION PROVES THAT THE MANN GOVERNMENT’S STRONG SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS EXIST ONLY IN ADVERTISEMENTS : ASHWANI SHARMA

The so-called “model” of Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal has today, in reality, become a symbol of an unsafe Punjab, weak security arrangements, and an atmosphere of fear. This allegation was made by Ashwani Sharma, Working President of the Punjab BJP, in connection with the RDX blast near Sirhind Railway Station. The incident, in which the driver of a goods train was injured and railway property was damaged, has raised serious questions about law and order.
Targeting the AAP government, Ashwani Sharma said that the blast, which occurred just before January 26, Republic Day, exposes negligence in security arrangements and the failure of the administration. Law and order is not an advertising campaign but a constitutional duty of the government; however, the Mann government has failed to discharge this responsibility.
Sharma alleged that gangsterism in Punjab has become rampant, drugs have destroyed the youth, and ordinary citizens feel unsafe. In contrast, instead of taking strict measures at the ground level, the government is confined merely to advertisements and claims.
Ashwani Sharma demanded that the Bhagwant Mann government immediately fix accountability, order a high-level inquiry, and take the strictest possible action against the culprits. He said that if immediate steps are not taken on law and order, the BJP will raise this issue on every platform.
