AKS DEDICATE WIN AT BARNALA THEATRE FESTIVAL TO PROF. GAURAV VIJ

Aks Abohar bagged several awards at the two-day 'North India Theatre Festival' organized by Maha Shakti Kala Manch in Barnala. Aks dedicated this victory to the theatre icon Prof. Gaurav Vij who left for his heavenly abode recently.

AKS press secretary, Raghav Nagpal, said that the team won a consolation prize for their street play 'Natak - Nasha', written by Surinder Narula and directed by Deepak Kamboj. Anmol was adjudged as the third best actor in the entire festival, while Ganesh won the Best Actor award for the team. Anmol, Ganesh, Gurlavpreet, Sunny, Sahil, Aman, Deepanshu, and Nidhi Verma contributed to the success of this street play team.

In the stage play competition, 'Salesman', directed by Surinder Narula, made its mark and secured second place. In individual achievements, Surinder Narula was honored with the 'Overall Best Actor' award for his outstanding performance, and Vaibhavi received the 'Best Actress' award for the team.

On Aks Abohar's achievement, President Mangat Verma, Amardeep, Vikram Kamra, Satish Patel, Anjam Gulati, and Bobby Sandha, along with the entire team, congratulated the winners and wished them a bright future
