He specially noted that 5 years ago Abohar was ranked among the worst 10 cities in terms of cleanliness in the national Swachhta Survekshan but as a result of this campaign, now the Municipal Corporation has got the first place in the state and overall ranking jumped to 78.

He said that the slogan of 'Inquilab' given by Bhagat Singh was aimed at giving freedom to India. At the same time, it was his thinking that after independence, revolution should be brought in the social structure and habits of people also. There is a need to emulate the consciousness expressed by Mr. Jakhar towards cleanliness among the residents here. If such a campaign is started in all the cities, then surely the dreams of the martyrs will come true.
