As part of learning initiative of Chandigarh Management Association, the members visited Verka Mohali plant for a guided tour into the various sections of the plant.

The CMA delegation led by President Gursimran Singh and General Secretary Abhishek Gupta was introduced to the process of accepting milk from cooperative societies, the testing of the milk before procurement, and later standardising milk nutrition content and packaging.

Senior executives of Verka Rupinder Kaur and Manjeet Singh conducted the tour into the Kheer, Paneer, Desi Ghee, Curd/Yogurt and Milk sections. The section on Lassi was also covered where the delegates got an opportunity to taste the fresh verka lassi.

Over 40 CMA members benefitted from this event. Executive members of CMA, including Rajnish Mittal, Vice President, Dr. Navjot Kaur, Joint Secretary, Sukhwinder S Bhatia, Treasurer, Sukhwinder S Uppal, Dr. Jatinderpal Singh Sehdev and Priyanka Arora participated in the study tour-cum-Industry visit. CMA President and General Secretary thanked the General Manager Verka and DGM S. Amarjit Singh, and the entire Verka Management and Staff for facilitating an educational tour for Chandigarh Management Association.
