FAZILKA DISTRICT CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL COMMISSION STARTS WORK

The office of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has started work at Fazilka. It was inaugurated by Justice Daya Chaudhary, President of Punjab State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in the august presence of judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Sudhir Mittal.

Advocate General of Punjab Vinod Ghai, District and Sessions Judge Jatinder Kaur, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal, SSP Avneet Kaur Sidhu were also present.

(SUBHEAD)Justice Daya Chowdhury ji installed Vishal Arora, Chairman of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission on his post and wished him well. Raghubir Singh Sukhija has been appointed as a member of the commission.

People said that the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission opening at Fazilka will make it easier to get justice on their consumer rights as the long-pending demand of the district has now been fulfilled.

District Legal Services Authority Secretary Amandeep Singh, SDM Nikas Khichar, Assistant Commissioner Sarangpreet Singh Aaujla and Fazilka Bar Association President Gulshan Mehrok were present.
