THREE PERSONS WERE DIED IN THIS ROAD RAGE

In the road rage case registered at PS Sarangpur, accused person Paramveer Singh Dhola S/o Kamaljit Singh R/o # 352, Sector-21, Panchkula, Haryana aged about 19 years involved in a fatal road accident case.
Police official statement said on 7.5.2023, at around 5.52 PM, an information was received from Control Room in Police Station Sarangpur that a serious road accident took place near Fish Market, Dhanas, Chandigarh.
On this information, the police party reached at the spot and found that a Volkswagen Beetle Car bearing registration number PB23-J-0001 hit a red colored bike number CH01-CN-3221 and further crushed 6/7 people sitting/standing on the roadside. There after, the accused person fled away from the spot.
In this regard, a Case FIR No. 33, Dated-17.5.23, U/s 279, 337, 304 IPC was got registered against the driver of vehicle no. PB23-J-0001 in Police Station Sarangpur.
In this accident, the following persons were found injured who were taken to GMSH-16 & PGI by the PCR vehicles. Victim Smt. Rajmati Devi R/o Dhanas, Chandigarh Age 52 yrs was declared brought dead in PGI, Smt. Vimlesh R/o Dhanas, CHD Age 50 yrs and Mustafa Ali R/o Dhanas, Chandigarh Age 23 yrs were admitted in PGI and expired during the treatment on 18.5.2023. Sh. Dalip Soni R/o Dhanas Age 22 yrs, Sh. Karamjit R/o Vill.- Togan Distt.-Mohali Age 55 yrs Sh. Boby R/o Dhanas Age 23 yrs. were admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh and are still under treatment. Smt. Neelam R/o Dhanas, CHD Age 28 yrs, who was admitted in GMSH-16 discharged on 19.5.2023.
(SUBHEAD)Further, a Special Teams were constituted under the direct supervision of Sh. Mridul, IPS, SP-City consisting Sh. Gurmukh Singh SDPO/Central and Inspector Rohit Kumar, SHO/PS-Sarangpur and police officials to trace out the case at the earliest.
During the course of investigation, examine the CCTV Footage, Social Media i.e. Facebook, technical assistance and human aid were also used to identify the accused. Raids were conducted by making at least 15 police teams at different hideouts.
On 20.5.2023, accused person Paramveer Singh Dhola has been arrested from near IRB Complex, Sarangpur, Chandigarh.
During interrogation he disclosed that he ran away from the accident spot immediately toward Firing Range Sector-25 and also called his family members to pick him up. Thereafter he went to the healing hospital Sector-34 for getting first aid.
The investigation is going on to know that how accused absconded from the spot, who was travelling with him and where he resided during the absconding period. Today he will be produced before the Hon’ble Court for getting Police Custody Remand. Further investigation is going on.
