ATTEMPT TO GRAB NGO’S LAND FOILED

An attempt to grab the land owned by Maheshwari Sangathan was foiled on Saturday.

As soon as information was received that some personswere illegally encroaching on the plot owned by Maheshwari Sangathan, located in Agrasen Colony near the railway crossing and started construction of boundary wall, dignitaries of the society under the leadership of Anand Periwal, head of Maheshwari Sangathan, immediately rushed to the spot.'

The masons and laborers were chased away from there and construction work of the illegal encroachment was stopped. Former Municipal Council President Pramil Kalani, former head of Maheshwari Sangathan Pradeep Periwal, Treasurer Gopal Sharda, Vijay Periwal, Vivek Periwal, Giriraj Rathi, Ritesh Mundra and Sumit Periwal were mainly present on the occasion.

A complaint has also been lodged at City-1 police station by the Maheshwari Sangathan against unknown people who tried to encroach on the plot. It is worth mentioning that while developing Agrasen Colony, a plot was handed over by the builder to Maheshwari Sangathan, whose registry after is also in the name of the Sangathan.

Anand Periwal said that all the documents related to the ownership of the plot of about 8 thousand feet located in Agrasen Colony, which is under construction, are available with the organization. Even in the records of the Revenue Department, the ownership of the said plot is speaking in the name of Maheshwari Sangathan. No person will be allowed to grab the plot of the organization illegally. The construction work of Maheshwari Bhawan will also be started soon after consulting the senior members.
